Dr Wise brings a wide range of clinical experience and analytic skills to produce expert reports that meet the requirements of the court. They are produced rapidly and to a high standard.

Dr Wise lectures at a postgraduate level and nationally on medico-legal matters. He has authored two psychiatric text books and numerous publications. He sits on the British Medical Association’s committee and sub-committee. In these roles he has liaised with the Department of Constitutional Affairs and Royal Colleges.

Dr Wise has been instructed by prosecution and defence, claimant and defendant, and as a single joint expert. He has worked in CAFCASS and asylum appeals cases. He was a Court liaison Psychiatrist for 2 years, developing a training programme for Magistrates in mental health matters.
